Check Gmail Address Availability

Is your username still available?

Google's new webmail service is currently the most sought-after on the internet. With the beta now running, some people are getting a chance to register an email address at Gmail.com for themselves. You can use this new script to determine whether a Gmail name is still available, or if it is already taken. This tool is useful for picking out a name while waiting for the service to go public.

Address availability checker no longer available. However, you can email the Gmail address of you choice, and if the email is bounced or returned, it's probably still available.
